Knowing Him Daily

“As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.” ‭‭John‬ ‭15‬:‭9‬-‭10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Abiding in His love is more than staying close, it’s remaining in the fire. As believers, we don’t follow His commandments to earn His love; we obey because we are consumed by it. Obedience is our response to intimacy. It’s how we stay connected to the flame that never dies.

“Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.” I John‬ ‭3‬:‭24‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The Spirit within us is proof that we are His and He is ours. That abiding presence empowers us to live holy, walk boldly, and love fiercely. This is not a one-time encounter, it’s our daily pursuit. We wake up to His presence, walk in step with His Word, and rest in His unfailing love. In the fire, we find our strength. In obedience, we remain in the flow of heaven.

~ Dear Heavenly Father ~

Thank You for sending Jesus to die on the Cross just for me. I admit that I have sinned, and I repent. I ask You to forgive me. I believe that He died and rose again. Right now, I make Him the Lord of my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. My sins are washed away, my past is forgiven, and my future is bright. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus’ Name Amen.
