Most of us have heard the saying, “the proof is in the pudding.” Well, the Father went even further, He gave us the ultimate proof of His love. And honestly, if that’s not enough for you, you might be in the wrong church, praying the wrong prayers, or reading the wrong blog! But if you’ve made it this far, I’m guessing you’re at least curious—maybe even interested, or perhaps your heart is already starting to shift. The answer is in His Word.
“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” ~ Romans 5:8 ~
He loves you so much that He went to incredible lengths to restore a deep, personal relationship with you, because He’s just that amazing! Let’s take a quick step back: He is Love. When Adam and Eve lost their intimacy in the garden, it wasn’t just their intimacy with God that was broken, it affected all of humanity. But…Jesus came to bring it back!
38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. ~ Romans 8:38-39 ~
God did that because He loves you, and He desires a personal, deeply intimate relationship with you.
“The cross is the ultimate evidence that there is no length the love of God will refuse to go.” ~ T.D. Jakes ~
If you have not committed your life to Jesus, or you have walked away from Him doing your own thing, I invite you to come to Him today.
~ Dear Heavenly Father ~
Thank You for sending Jesus to die on the Cross just for me. I admit that I have sinned, and I repent. I ask You to forgive me. I believe that He died and rose again. Right now, I make Him the Lord of my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. My sins are washed away, my past is forgiven, and my future is bright. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus’ Name Amen.
Make today count and see you tomorrow.
