If Hollywood can boldly showcase a shallow, distorted version of love, how much more should we, who carry the truest love—Jesus—live it out with boldness and joy? His love is the foundation of everything. He created us for relationship (Jeremiah 31:3), and even when man sinned, He didn’t turn away. Instead, He died in our place—because of love (Romans 5:8).

Love cannot stay hidden. As one lyric says, “When you’re in love… there is no way on earth to hide it.” It’s the love of God that truly transforms us. If we are genuinely in love with Jesus, shouldn’t that be clear? Jesus said, “If you love Me, keep My commandments” (John 14:15). Love shows in how we live, not just in what we say.

Many believers say they love God, yet live lives that don’t reflect it. The Apostle John wrote, “Let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth” (1 John 3:18). Love for Jesus should be evident in our speech, decisions, and how we treat others.

We are spirit beings first (Galatians 5:16), and love is a fruit of the Spirit. Yet many live by emotions instead of truth. Emotions are not meant to lead us—He is. We must stay connected, hear His voice, and simply say “yes.”

Let’s live like lovers of Jesus—so full of His love that the world can’t help but see. Because when we’re truly in love, it shows.

I admit that I have sinned and need Your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ died for my sins and rose from the dead. I confess Jesus as my Lord and Savior and invite Him into my heart.
