~ You Are On His Mind ~

27.April.2025

There is no greater truth in all creation than this: we are deeply loved by God. From the beginning of time, His thoughts have been filled with us. Psalm 139 tells us that His thoughts toward us outnumber the grains of sand. Every heartbeat, every breath, every moment of our existence is known and cherished by Him. We are not an afterthought to God; we are the sole focus of His mind.

“He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. (1 John 4:8 NKJV) This verse clearly states that God isn’t just loving, He is love Himself!

God does not merely love us when we are doing well or when we remember Him. Even when we forget, even when we sin, we are still on His mind. Zephaniah 3:17 paints a tender picture of a God who rejoices over us with singing, who quiets us with His love. His thoughts are not distant; they are near.

We are the joy set before Jesus that caused Him to endure the cross (Hebrews 12:2). His love is not passive, it is active, and unwavering. Nothing can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:38-39).

Knowing that we are constantly on God’s mind brings peace, confidence, and joy. We are never forgotten, never alone. We are His treasure.

As a sweet reminder of this, my pastors have shared with us a prayer formed from the book of Ephesians, and I have included it below:

~ For Yourself ~

Thank You that I have a spirit of wisdom and revelation (special insight) in a deep and intimate knowledge of You and that the Holy Spirit reveals to me what You have called me to do and to help me understand how rich my inheritance is as a child of God.

Because You have given me unlimited and immeasurable and surpassing power; that same power that was demonstrated when You raised Jesus from the dead and seated him at Your right hand in heaven, far above all principality and authority and power and dominion and every name that is named, I choose to recognize and use this power.

I recognize that You have put ALL things under Jesus’ feet and made Him to be the head over the church, His body. Because of Your love and mercy, even when I was dead in trespasses and sin, You made me alive and raised me up to sit with Jesus in heavenly places.

I know You will continue to strengthen me in my inner man by Your Spirit so I can be rooted and grounded in Your love that was deposited in me when I received Jesus as my Lord. Help me to understand and practice His love so I can be filled and flooded with You God. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Let’s keep out eyes on Him…

If you have not committed your life to Jesus, or you have walked away from Him doing your own thing, I invite you to come back to Him today.

Dear Heavenly Father ,

I admit that I have sinned and need Your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ died for my sins and rose from the dead. I confess Jesus as my Lord and Savior and invite Him into my heart. My past is forgiven, my sins are washed away and my future is bright. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus’ Name Amen.

Make today count and see you tomorrow.
