Greetings on this amazing Easter! This song may or may not be your usual style, but it beautifully paints a word picture of all that today represents.

Today is a day of celebration and rejoicing! All that we’ve talked about the past few days brings us here.

Jesus, full of love and mercy, came to rescue us from a life of emptiness, brokenness, and separation from God. He lived a perfect, sinless life and gave Himself for us—dying on the cross so that every mistake, every shame, and every sin could be washed away. He did this not out of obligation, but because of His deep love for you. Through His resurrection, He made a way for you to be completely forgiven, fully accepted, and forever connected to the heart of God. Giving your life to Jesus isn’t about religion—it’s about relationship. It’s about letting the One who created you and knows you best lead you into a life full of peace, purpose, and eternal hope.

If you have not committed your life to Jesus, or you have walked away from Him doing your own thing, I invite you to come back to Him today.

Say this out loud:

Heavenly Father, I admit that I have sinned and need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ died for my sins and rose from the dead. I confess Jesus as my Lord and Savior and invite Him into my heart. Thank you for saving me. Amen.

Whatever you do today, take a moment to reflect on all that our Savior has done for us. Enjoy some ham or prime rib, and cherish the time with the ones you love. Make today count.
