~ Good Friday ~
18/April/2025
This day holds deep significance for many believers. It’s the day we remember the crucifixion of Jesus Christ—an event that changed the course of human history.
After being scourged thirty-nine times, He carried a cross large enough to hold His own body, only to be nailed to it—through His hands and feet. Imagine the weight He bore physically, after such brutal whipping—and then consider the emotional and spiritual weight He carried for all of us. It’s almost too much to fathom.
Jesus was led to Golgotha, the “Place of the Skull,” where He was crucified between two criminals.
The Roman soldiers even cast lots for His clothing. That alone says something—they wouldn’t gamble for rags. Jesus wasn’t poor, as some assume. His tunic was seamless, a detail Scripture makes sure to mention—something costly to make and a sign of who He truly was.
I’ve attached one of my favorite Easter songs—both in English and Español. May it speak to your heart the way it does to mine.
Until tomorrow…
